Taste of Sechelt Festival 2023

The Taste of Sechelt Festival on Saturday, June 3 promises to be a fun day out for everyone, regardless of whether you love wine, food, shopping, or all three. 

Taste of Sechelt Festival Invites Locals & Visitors to Eat, Drink, and Go Shopping

The Festival includes a Daytime Event with complimentary tastings at downtown shops as well as an Evening Event featuring over 100 wines.

The Taste of Sechelt Daytime Event starts at 1:00 pm.

Purchase a branded wine glass for $12 at one of two downtown locations; festivalgoers who bring their branded glass from last year save $2 on the Daytime Event.

You’ll be given a wristband; then sip, shop, and eat your way around downtown Sechelt, enjoying complimentary wine samples at participating retail shops. Local eateries will offer specially curated $6 menu items during this time.

The Evening Event will be hosted at the Seaside Centre. 

From 5:30 to 8:00, 20 winery tables will pour samples from over 100 wines, including both homegrown and imported options, including one table showcasing non-alcoholic wines.

Guests will enjoy mouthwatering bites from Noble Meats & Cheeses, with live music by Joe Rotundo and the Modelos.

Extend the evening and enjoy a cash bar from 8:00 to 9:30.

Tickets for the Evening Event are $85, available online, or in person at the Lighthouse Liquor Store (cash only).

The town of Sechelt is easily accessible from the GVRD. 

It’s only 20 minutes from Vancouver or YVR via seaplane, or a 40-minute ferry trip from Horseshoe Bay to Langdale, followed by a 25-minute drive through the beautiful countryside. 

Visitors love downtown Sechelt’s wide variety of unique boutique shops devoted to fashion, home décor, arts and crafts, and vintage and fabulous eateries.
