Tamaly Shop offers immersive events that bring together food, culture, and hands-on elements in a way that feels engaging and interactive. This media preview offered a first look at the experiences they will be hosting at their Mount Pleasant location.
The evening opened with a masa making demo, offering a closer look at the foundation of tamales.
Next, we made our own dessert tamaly, choosing between pineapple or blueberry with cream cheese.
The tasting menu moved through dishes of your choice. We went with Pico de Gallo, Classic Guacamole, Granny’s Noodle Soup, and Tortilla Tomato Soup to start, followed by Pork Tamal, Chicken and Mole Tamale, Pork Taco, and Aztec Taco, and finishing with Enfrijoladas and Enmoladas, bringing a mix of fresh, comforting, and more savoury flavours across the experience.
Tamaly Shop: Soul, Food, Sound EventsLive music by Ana Posada added a steady rhythm to the room, while artwork by Joel Gala brought a visual layer that complemented the setting. The evening felt cohesive, with each element supporting the next.
