Greendale Acres in Chilliwack is reopening on Thursday, March 27 with a seasonal calendar of outdoor activities and farm attractions designed with families in mind. The farm will host returning favourites and introduce new features throughout spring.

The Sweet Spring Flower and Animal Festival runs from March 27 to May 11. Visitors will find more than 100,000 tulips in bloom, including a large-scale Tulip River, U-Pick Tulips, a Tulip Pyramid and Daffodil Gardens. Dutch-inspired elements like a windmill and wooden footbridges shape the visual experience. The Greendale Express train, Jumping Pillow, Adventure Course, Bubble Bar, Pedal Cart Track and Animal Displays return for the season. On weekends, guests can visit Lily’s Barnyard to interact with the farm’s animals.
On April 5, the 103rd Chilliwack Plowing Match brings together antique tractor displays, blacksmith and farrier demonstrations, a Learn-to-Plow station, live music by the Morgan Griffith Duo, and a by-donation pancake breakfast. Entry includes access to Greendale’s full range of attractions, scenic wagon rides, and animal encounters.
The Easter at Greendale Acres event runs April 12, 13, 18, 19, and 20. Young guests can complete the new Easter Bunny Adventure Course, take part in egg hunts in the orchard, enjoy baby animal displays, face painting, a scavenger hunt and photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny. Scenic train rides and fire pits offer a relaxing pace for older visitors.
On April 25, grandparents receive free admission during Grandparents’ Day. The next day, April 26, children can meet Princess Elsa and Spider Gwen during the farm’s Princess Day.
The SHIFT Workout Event happens on May 10, presented by Michelle Bruys with partners including Land Studio & Café, Wilde Wellness, and The Habit Project. Tickets include a full workout, refreshments, and swag bags featuring items from Lululemon and local businesses.
The Greendale Tulip Dig on May 10 and 11 allows guests to take home 25 bulbs each. Shovels are required, and attendees are encouraged to dress appropriately.
On May 11, the farm hosts a Mother’s Day Celebration, offering free admission to all mothers. The day includes a pancake breakfast and one last chance to participate in the tulip dig.
