Over the summer, we’ve seen multiple celebrities such as Drake, DJ Khaled, Draymond Green, and LeBron James having a good time and enjoying Lobos 1707 cocktails with friends, deeming it the Summer of Lobos.
To keep the summer vibes alive, Lobos 1707, the ultra-premium tequila and mezcal brand, is sharing its signature Spicy Pineapple Margarita and Tequila Paloma recipes so everyone can enjoy the Summer of Lobos together.
These elevated cocktails combine classic flavours like pineapple & spicy jalapenos, and tart grapefruit & agave, mixed with the smooth taste of Lobos 1707 Reposado tequila ($84.95 CAD, now available in over 600 LCBO locations across Ontario).
Lobos Paloma
- 1.25 oz Lobos 1707 Reposado
- .25 oz Ancho Reyes
- 1 oz Fresh grapefruit juice
- .5 oz Fresh lime juice
- .5 oz Agave nectar
- Top with Club soda
Glass: Highball
Garnish: Chili salt rimmed
Direction: Add all ingredients into a shaker except the club soda, add ice and shake until chilled. Strain into a highball glass rimmed with chili salt and fill with ice. Top off with club soda and give a gentle stir and garnish.
*Fresh grapefruit juice: Strain out the pulp after juicing

Lobos 1707 Spicy Pineapple Margarita
- 1.5 oz Lobos 1707 Joven or Reposado
- .75 oz fresh lime juice
- .75 oz pineapple juice
- 5 oz agave simple
- 2 thin slices of jalapeños
- Tajin rim
Glass: Rocks
Garnish: Pineapple leaves
Method: Dip rim of glass in lime juice and Tajin for Tajin rim. Mix all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake. Pour into cup, either drained or over ice.
