Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts
The Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts is hosting a series of Emily in Paris themed events. On Saturday, September 14th, join a Cooking Class from 10 AM to 2 PM for $225. On Thursday, September 19th, indulge in an Emily in Paris Dinner from 6 PM to 9 PM for $139. Finally, on September 28th, there’s an Emily in Paris Dessert & Pastry Class from 10 AM to 2 PM for $195. The Blue Hat Bakery-Café will also bring back their Pumpkin Spice Lattes starting September 10th, along with other seasonal pumpkin treats.
Skye Avenue Kitchen & Lounge
On Wednesday, September 11th, starting at 5 PM, Skye Avenue Kitchen & Lounge is hosting a special one-night bar takeover featuring Japanese whisky. International bartender and brand ambassador Yuki Yamazaki will showcase the limited-edition Kujira Inari whisky, made from rice, and will guest bartend for the evening. Yamazaki, the owner of The Japanese Bitters, will share his expertise on the world’s first aromatic bitters made with Japanese ingredients.

Gringo is celebrating some tasty national days this September! On September 16th, for National Guacamole Day, enjoy the Guac Chippy Dippy for just $7. Then, on September 25th, in honor of National Quesadilla Day, all Dillas will be priced at $10, with the Austin Dilla available for $12. Starting September 3rd, Gringo will also offer online ordering for takeout at their North Vancouver location.
