Purdys Chocolates Now Available at Save-On-Foods

Purdys Chocolatier has expanded beyond their own stores and online shop, offering their chocolates at Save-On-Foods locations across Western Canada and Yukon for the first time.

Purdys Chocolates Now Available at Save-On-Foods

The partnership brings Purdys Chocolatier, a Canadian-owned and operated brand since 1907, into 131 Save-On-Foods stores across British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Yukon. This expansion comes in response to increased demand and a growing consumer interest in Canadian-made products. According to the brand, online traffic from Canadian search queries has grown by over 200 percent, and 93 percent of Canadians report wanting grocery stores to stock more Canadian items.

Until now, Purdys products were only available through their own network of more than 80 retail locations and their e-commerce platform. The launch into grocery retail makes the brand more accessible while aligning with ongoing Buy Canadian efforts.

Customers can now find four of Purdys’ most popular items at Save-On-Foods:

Dark Mint Meltie Bar
A chocolate shop classic since the 1960s, this bar blends smooth dark chocolate with a burst of mint. Made with sustainable cocoa.

Milk Peanut Butter Bar
Creamy milk chocolate layered with a nutty peanut butter centre. This bar is made with sustainable cocoa and sized for individual indulgence.

Milk Hedgehogs, pack of 3
These signature chocolates are filled with hazelnut gianduja and wrapped in a smooth milk chocolate shell. Made with sustainable cocoa.

Milk Salted Butter Toffee Bar
A blend of creamy milk chocolate and crunchy salted butter toffee bits. Made with sustainable cocoa.

This launch gives shoppers a new way to bring home familiar Canadian-made chocolates during their regular grocery trips. The products are available at participating Save-On-Foods locations for a limited time.
