Product with Purpose: Purplesful Snacking

Matthew von Teichman, a serial entrepreneur, is one of the country’s biggest leaders in the Natural Products category (founder of Spore Wellnes, founder of GreenSpace brands, founder of Life Choices, among just a few).

Product with Purpose: Purplesful Snacking

His venture with Purplesful is a bit different than previous projects.

Rather than launching a product and then building it’s purpose, he developed a purpose and mission first and then found a product.

He wanted to create a high volume consumer product that could flow profits to the less privileged.

He solidified how he wanted it to be structured (25% of profits to be given back) and who he wanted to give back to (started with inner city children, and now has grown roster of different children’s organizations).

Then came the product, which is a purple corn popcorn called Purplesful

Purplesful Snacking is the ultimate stocking stuffer or holiday snack for the foodie who likes to give back.

A proudly Canadian brand and a unique twist on the traditional popcorn, Purplesful is made with purple corn and is an organic, gluten-free, plant-based snack that is all about purpose over profit.
