The PNE is thrilled to announce its lineup for the 2024 Summer Night Concerts. One of the most popular programs of the annual Fair (August 17 to September 2), the Summer Night Concerts on the Chevrolet Stage will be held in the Pacific Coliseum in 2024 as construction is ongoing on the new PNE Amphitheatre, due to open in 2026.
Attendees of the PNE Fair can anticipate captivating and diverse performances this year, showcasing iconic figures from music history in Pop, Rock, and R&B, along with rising stars in the industry, and admission to the Fair is FREE with the purchase of a concert ticket.

The Summer Night Concerts will run every evening the Fair is open, starting on Saturday August 17th on the Chevrolet Stage in the Pacific Coliseum.
Tickets, with prices starting as low as $40.00 (NOW INCLUDING FAIR ADMISSION) will go on sale on April 12th at TicketLeader.ca.
For opening weekend, Fairgoers can rock out with Canadian legend Burton Cummings, known for his extraordinary voice and hits spanning over fifty years with The Guess Who and as a solo artist. Cummings will share the stage with legendary artist Colin James, whose storied career includes 8 Juno Awards, making him a Canadian music icon renowned for electrifying performances, from swing revivals to topping blues charts with albums like “Blue Highways.”
Next up on the opening weekend is Amanda Marshall. The Canadian’s creative and captivating voice has led to several multi-platinum releases and recent win of the 2024 JUNO for Adult Contemporary Album of the Year. Amanda will be joined on stage with special guest Serena Ryder, who is currently touring her latest album, “The Art of Falling Apart,” which blends pop rhythms with her powerful voice.
To keep the list of legends going, the PNE brings in Bachman-Turner Overdrive. Randy Bachman, a Canadian rock legend, announces the comeback of Bachman-Turner Overdrive (BTO), boasting over 40 million records sold worldwide and numerous awards. Their return coincides with the 50th anniversary of their first performance at the Pacific Coliseum, marking a significant milestone for one of Canada’s most iconic bands.
Global icon and trailblazer Blondie is set to take centre stage. Led by Debbie Harry, the band has influenced music, fashion, and art for over four decades, earning accolades such as induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
American treasure, John Fogerty, is sure to have festival attendees captivated. A Grammy-winning artist and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, John has shaped American music with hits like “Proud Mary” and “Fortunate Son” both as leader of Creedence Clearwater Revival and solo.
For those country lovers, the iconic Brad Paisley will have you tapping your boots all night long. Brad Paisley is a highly decorated and influential figure in country music, with numerous awards, including three GRAMMYs and multiple CMA Awards. As a member of the Grand Ole Opry since 2001, Paisley’s extensive achievements including 25 No. 1 hits.
One of the most exciting artists in the world, Canada’s own Charlotte Cardin, who swept the 2024 JUNO Awards winning Album of the Year, Pop Album of the Year, with nominations for Single of the Year, Artist of the Year Fan Choice and Songwriter of the Year for her album 99 Nights. This is sure to be one of the biggest performances of the Fair.
The PNE is thrilled to welcome The Commodores to the 2024 Fair. This legendary group continues to release new albums and tour worldwide all while celebrating their hits including “Brick House” and “Night Shift”. And Fairgoers will be able to say they’re ‘So Excited!’ as they sing along with The Pointer Sisters this summer. Renowned for their dynamic performances, they continue to captivate audiences with hits like “Yes We Can, Can” and “Jump”.
The fun doesn’t stop there! Later on jam out with no other than Flo Rida this summer. The vibrant international icon rose to fame with hits like “Low” and “Right Round,” amassing over 100 million singles sold worldwide.
Back by popular demand is the iconic Blue Rodeo. They have achieved remarkable success in their 40-year career, selling over 4 million albums, winning numerous awards, and receiving prestigious honours. Despite forging their own path in the music industry, the band has consistently defied expectations and left an indelible mark on Canadian music history.
Singing along to your favourite 2000’s jams doesn’t end there because up next attendees can groove with Ludacris, who has had a remarkable career, selling over 24 million albums worldwide with hit singles and pioneering rap videos.
For the first time ever as part of the Summer Night Concerts is Punjabi Virsa 2024. The Punjabi Virsa Concert Series is a longstanding tradition that has been captivating audiences worldwide since 2004. Punjabi Virsa features the talents of three virtuoso brothers: Manmohan Waris, Kamal Heer, and Sangtar. This annual event celebrates the rich cultural heritage of Punjab through mesmerizing performances of traditional and contemporary Punjabi music.
If we ‘Had a Million Dollars,’ we’d welcome back Canadian legends the Barenaked Ladies every summer! Their latest album, “In Flight,” reflects a matured perspective while retaining the band’s signature wit, exploring themes of gratitude, aging, and cancel culture, offering a departure from their previous focus on contemporary media perils.
Finally, to wrap up the Summer Night Concerts, we have I Love the 90’s Tour featuring Vanilla Ice, Rob Base and All-4 One. This performance offers the audience a nostalgic performance with hit-filled trips down memory lane. Vanilla Ice has sold over 25 million albums worldwide, and toured globally since 1990, while Rob Base has led to successful tours and Vegas residencies, with audiences enjoying beloved tracks like “Ice Ice Baby” and “I Swear.”
The 2024 Fair will run from August 17th until September 2nd from 11am until 11pm. The Fair will be closed on, August 19th and August 26th. The PNE Fair’s full entertainment program will be announced in May.
