As the holy month of Ramadan is here, Mazola.ca + @mariaa.khalidd have got the perfect pakora recipe for the celebration. Made with Besan, sliced potatoes, onions and fresh coriander and fried in Mazola Corn Oil, these crispy, golden brown pakoras will be a sure crowd pleaser.
Pakora Recipe

Ingredients:
- 3-4 cups Mazola Corn Oil for frying
- 2 potatoes sliced
- 2 onions sliced
- Half of a bunch of coriander, chopped
- 2 jalapenos, chopped
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp chilli flakes
- 1 tsp Ajwain
- 1 Tbsp Coriander seeds
- 1 cup Besan
- 1/4 cup water
Directions:
- Preheat Mazola Corn Oil on medium in a vessel deep enough to fry.
- Combine all ingredients to form a thick mixture.
- Add dollops of the mixture to heated Mazola Corn Oil and fry pakoras until golden brown.
