OAKBERRY is officially expanding to Vancouver Island with two highly anticipated locations scheduled to open in early summer. This move brings the globally recognized Brazilian superfood brand to the provincial capital, following a successful national debut. The expansion focuses on providing nutrient-dense options that cater to the active, coastal lifestyle of local residents.

OAKBERRY specializes in sustainably harvested organic açaí that contains no dyes or artificial preservatives. The first location will occupy a 973 square foot space at Tuscany Village Shopping Centre, while a second 959 square foot storefront is planned for Fort Street in Downtown Victoria. These openings represent the initial phase of a larger growth strategy for the region.
The menu allows guests to build and customize their orders to suit their nutritional needs. Customers can select from various sizes of the signature açaí bowls, which feature unlimited toppings such as cacao nibs, chia pudding, and fresh fruit. For those on the move, the açaí smoothies offer a convenient alternative and can be boosted with functional add-ons.
The brand also provides several high-protein options for athletes and fitness enthusiasts. The protein smoothies can deliver up to 32g of protein, making them an ideal choice for post-workout recovery. Beyond frozen treats, the shops will carry peanut butter bites and protein bars for quick snacking throughout the day.
Founded in São Paulo in 2016, the company has grown into a massive international franchise with over 900 stores worldwide. Their arrival in Victoria marks a significant milestone for the local health food scene. Every dish reflects their commitment to quality and the “healthy fast food” philosophy that has made them a household name in over 42 countries.
