Columbus Meat Market has introduced a brand new line of freshly made paninis, crafted with the same premium meats and ingredients they’re known for.

Each sandwich is $14 and served on schiacciata bread—an Italian flatbread that’s thinner and chewier than focaccia, with a light, crisp texture.

The menu includes:
- The Giancarlo: Prosciutto crudo, mozzarella, basil, balsamic glaze, arugula
- The Gino: Columbus dried capicollo, provolone, sundried tomatoes, arugula
- Fiamma: Columbus hot sopressa, havarti, ’nduja, arugula
- The Nanaimo: Turkey, pesto, stracciatella, grilled zucchini, arugula
- The Vito: Mortadella, stracciatella, pistachio cream, pistachio crumble, arugula
- The Butcher: Columbus porchetta, pesto, provolone, arugula

I tried The Vito and The Nanaimo—both were well-balanced with good textures and fresh ingredients. The Vito had a rich, nutty flavour from the pistachio cream and crumble, while The Nanaimo was lighter with creamy cheese and grilled zucchini. A solid addition to the market’s offerings and worth trying!
