Kaneko Hannosuke is a Japanese-founded brand known for their signature Tendon (Rice Bowl) Tempura dishes. They have a kiosk at The Amazing Brentwood food court known as Tables in Burnaby.
They have currently launched some new items including Tempura Sets and Pork Katsu Bowl. I tried the Premium Tempura which included a variety of tempura including Conger eel, shrimp, kakiage (seafood and vegetable), soft boiled egg and green bean. It also comes with a miso soup and a tofu dish. I also had their Pork Katsu bowl with crispy, pork cutlets on rice.
On another occasion we tried their Premium Tendon Sets.
