Jackson-Triggs is responding to changing drinking habits with the introduction of new 0% and Light wines as more Canadians rethink how alcohol fits into their routines.

New data shared by the brand shows that nearly two-thirds of Canadian drinkers plan to moderate their alcohol consumption in 2026. Taste remains the top priority, with more than seven in ten respondents saying flavour matters most when choosing light or non-alcoholic options. Participation in dry months continues to rise, particularly among Gen Z and millennials, signalling a broader shift toward moderation without giving up enjoyment.
The new range includes alcohol-free and reduced-alcohol wines designed to maintain familiar flavour profiles. The launch introduces Jackson-Triggs 0% Sauvignon Blanc and Jackson-Triggs 0% Rosé, alongside an updated Light collection that contains 25 percent less alcohol than standard versions. These wines are meant for everyday occasions, from weeknight dinners to social gatherings where guests may be drinking less or skipping alcohol altogether.

The Light lineup includes Jackson-Triggs Proprietors’ Selection Light Pinot Grigio, Jackson-Triggs Proprietors’ Selection Light Cabernet Sauvignon, and Jackson-Triggs Proprietors’ Selection Light Rosé. Each wine is crafted to deliver recognizable varietal character while offering an option with reduced alcohol content.

Availability varies by province, with the 0% wines offered through select retailers in Ontario and several other provinces, and broader national expansion planned. The Light portfolio is already available across most of Canada, making these options accessible for shoppers looking to adjust their drinking habits without changing brands.
Jackson-Triggs is part of Arterra Wines Canada, one of the country’s largest wine producers. The expansion of the 0% and Light ranges reflects how Canadian wine producers are adapting to evolving consumer preferences, where moderation, flexibility, and flavour now sit side by side.
