Good Co. Northwoods offers a casual sports bar experience to North Vancouver with giant LED screens for live sports, arcade games, pool tables, food, and drinks.

I visited to try a selection of new menu items, including a burger, tacos, ribs, salmon, dessert, and a few drinks. The menu felt well suited to the setting, with familiar dishes that work for sharing, casual dinners, and watching a game with friends.

The Smash Burger had the familiar comfort of a classic burger, with the pickles and sauce giving each bite a bit of acidity and savoury flavour. I liked that it was easy to eat and worked well as a main for a casual sports bar meal.

The Chicken And Ribs Combo was a generous plate with a half rack of BBQ ribs, blackened chicken breast, Creole butter, fries, and house-made cornbread. The ribs brought a saucy barbecue profile, while the blackened chicken added more spice. The cornbread was a nice addition and gave the plate a Southern-style touch.

The Maple Soy Salmon was served with sushi rice and was a lighter option among the dishes I tried, with a sweet and savoury glaze that worked well with the rice. I appreciated seeing a salmon dish on the menu, especially in a casual sports bar setting where burgers and fried items are usually the main focus.

The Baja Fish Tacos had crunch from the cod, brightness from the mango salsa, and a mild heat from the jalapeño and hot sauce. These would be easy to share, though I would also order them as a meal.

The Date Square came with ice cream and caramel sauce. It was a simple dessert with a familiar, comforting sweetness. After the savoury dishes, it made for an easy finish to the meal.

The Citrus Sunset IV had a refreshing, fruitier profile. It felt like the type of drink that would work well for a casual evening, especially alongside tacos or salmon.

The Dirty Cherry Cola had a playful soda-style character with a stronger cherry note. It suited the room and felt like an easy drink choice for a sports bar setting.

Good Co. Northwoods offered a relaxed North Vancouver setting for sports, games, drinks, and casual food. Between the large screens, arcade games, pool tables, and menu of familiar dishes, it felt like a spot where you could come for a game and stay for dinner.
I liked that the menu included both classic sports bar choices and a few lighter options. The Smash Burger and Chicken And Ribs Combo felt most in line with the sports bar experience, while the Maple Soy Salmon and Baja Fish Tacos added variety.
