A Google listing has gone up for Fuwa Fuwa Japanese Pancakes upcoming location in Vancouver. The new outpost will be at 1510 Robson Street in Vancouver.

The brand, which began in Greater Toronto in 2018, has since expanded to include locations in Calgary, Edmonton, the United States, and the United Kingdom.

Fuwa Fuwa, which means “fluffy fluffy” in Japanese, specializes in soufflé pancakes. The process begins with egg whites whipped to soft peaks, essential for achieving their airy texture. These pancakes are then cooked slowly at a low temperature. Combining the characteristics of a soufflé and a traditional pancake, soufflé pancakes are soft, bouncy, and light.
Originally from Japan, handcrafted soufflé pancakes were traditionally served at weddings and celebrations for good luck. Today, they have become a treat for any occasion, from breakfast and brunch to dinner and everything in between.
The brand takes pride in using locally sourced milk and fresh cracked eggs with no additives or preservatives. They prepare house-made sauces and offer a variety of toppings and fruit combinations.
Some soufflé pancake options at other outposts of Fuwa Fuwa include Strawberry, Tiramisu, Nutella Banana, and French Toast. Other menu items feature Roll Cakes, Macarons, and Croffles. For drinks, they serve Espresso Lattes, Specialty Lattes, Iced Teas, Lemonades, Frappes, and more.
I have personally tried their Downtown Calgary location and check out this post to learn more.
