I had a great time attending Flourish, the annual fundraiser presented by Vancouver Community College and the VCC Foundation.
The evening brought together VCC alumni chefs, bakers and musicians, along with local sponsors and guests. There were chef stations, wine pairings, department activations and an expanded marketplace, giving us a closer look at VCC’s hands-on programs and the people behind them.
Proceeds from Flourish 2026 will help purchase an EV-specific chassis dynamometer for VCC’s Automotive Service Technician program. The new equipment will be part of the Centre for Clean Energy and Automotive Innovation, helping students gain practical experience as they prepare to enter the workforce.
