Fleurs de Villes & VanDusen Garden: Fleurs de Villes VOYAGE

Fleurs de Villes VOYAGE presented by Porsche Cars Canada – a fresh floral journey of discovery connecting the world through flowers at VanDusen Botanical Garden – is happening from June 9 to 18, 2023 as part of the flower show’s global tour.

With people everywhere returning to travel, it’s an opportune time to celebrate the culture, people, and heritage of destinations around the world “en fleurs.” 

Fresh floral mannequins and spectacular installations will take visitors on a journey of discovery to iconic global destinations.

Inspired by timeless monuments as well as the diverse traditions, festivals, and fashions from cities around the world, the Fleurs de Villes VOYAGE show will be a feast of cultural storytelling, connecting the world through flowers like never before.

Vancouver’s Fleurs de Villes VOYAGE will consist of installations and activations to surprise, educate, and delight people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds.

The floral trail will begin with a beautiful flower-festooned archway, and wend its way through the VanDusen Botanical Garden pathways with fresh floral installations by Vancouver’s top floral artists.

Other highlights include a fun children’s discovery trail and live entertainment and guests are encouraged to purchase a picnic or take in a floral high tea at Truffles’ Garden Cafe, located onsite.

Visitors can also attend informative floral demonstrations en plein air in the JARDIN area of the floral trail and enjoy floral refreshments, such as Grown Wild wine inspired by Okanagan wildflowers, in the on-site pop-up cafe.

Floral trail walkers will be delighted to find a Porsche sports car covered in flowers, a display that will be part of celebrating 75 Years of Porsche this year, with the brand encouraging guests to dream in full colour.

A weekend flower market selling take-home bouquets will be part of the floral trail The Vancouver Marriott Pinnacle Downtown hotel will host an additional fresh floral installation as a satellite pop-up to the show and will be offering a special cocktail menu with seven cocktails inspired by the seven wonders of the world.

The Bloedel Conservatory, located in Queen Elizabeth Park, will host another VOYAGE inspired mannequin installation delighting guests in the nearby iconic park.

Tickets ($10 children, $26 adults, $24 VBGA members + GST and service fees) go on sale May 1 at VanDusenGarden.ca.

Tickets also include admission to the entire 55-acres of VanDusen Botanical Garden.

The Fleurs de Villes VOYAGE show had its global launch in Bal Harbour, Miami, on March 3, 2023, and it will also travel to Chicago, Toronto, Montreal, Seattle, Edinburgh, New York, Boston, and Dallas in 2023.
