Elf Eat-Along at The Rec Room Granville Vancouver

The Rec Room Granville is hosting an Elf Eat-Along experience in Vancouver that pairs the holiday film with a timed, four-course menu served in sync with scenes from the movie. The limited-date event runs on December 14 and December 21, bringing food service and film together inside the entertainment venue.

The experience opens with Buddy the Elf’s arrival in New York City. Guests receive Espresso Martini or Coffee with Whipped Cream and Oreo Crumbs, timed to the moment Buddy celebrates what he believes to be the world’s best cup of coffee. The drink course sets the tone for a menu designed around familiar scenes from the film rather than a traditional meal sequence.

The second course references one of the movie’s most talked-about food moments. Sun-Dried Tomato and Goat Cheese Spaghettini with Candy Sides arrives during Buddy’s spaghetti breakfast scene, with candy elements inspired by the elves’ four food groups. The dish offers a savoury base paired with playful accompaniments tied directly to the on-screen moment.

The story then shifts to Buddy reconnecting with his brother Michael and the Central Park snowball fight. Powdered Sugar Mini Donuts are served during this sequence, matching the energy of the scene without interrupting the film.

The final course aligns with Buddy’s New York City date night. Hot Dogs and Mini Pretzels are served from The Shed, the venue’s quick-service restaurant and bar, closing the experience with a casual nod to classic city street food.

The Elf Eat-Along takes place on December 14 starting at 6 PM and on December 21 starting at 12:30 PM. Attendance is limited to guests aged 19 and over. Tickets are priced at $38.16 plus tax per person, including a $1.50 service fee, and cover the film screening and featured menu items. Extra food and beverages are available for purchase.
