Eggette House has opened a new outpost on Robson Street in Vancouver. Their new location takes over the space formerly occupied by Machi Machi at 1194 Robson St, Vancouver.
Eggette House has a location at the Richmond Public Market and specializes in sweet and savoury Hong Kong-style bubble waffles.
Their Robson Street has basically the same menu as the Richmond Public Market location. You’ll find the Bubble Waffles, Milk Teas, and Flavoured Sparkling Water beverages. Bubble Waffle options range from classic to ones with more unique fillings like Salted Egg Yolk and Seaweed with Pork Fluff.
I stopped in and got one of their newest flavours, Banana and Chocolate Chip ($6.99). It was a tasty bubble waffle with a softer filling from the banana.
I also tried the Hong-Kong Style Waffle Cake with peanut butter and condensed milk. It’s available on at the Robson location.
For drinks, there was the Pineapple Sparkling Tea and Hong Kong Milk Tea.
Also one of my favourites from Eggette House’s Richmond Public Market location is the Portuguese Egg Tart which I recommend. They actually scoop in Portuguese Egg Tart custard as the filling for the bubble waffle.
