Claudio’s Ristorante Debuts Fall Menu in North Burnaby

Claudio’s Ristorante has rolled out a new fall and winter menu at 103-4402 Skyline Drive in Burnaby’s Solo District, bringing a relaxed mix of comforting Italian dishes and seasonal flavours.

The antipasti menu includes Prosciutto e Burrata with burrata Pugliese and EVOO; Calamari Fritti with pepperoncini and zucchini; Carpaccio made with Wagyu beef and truffle aioli; Almond Ricottina featuring house-made ricotta and olive tapenade; and Cozze with mussels in white wine and Calabrian chiles.

Salads include Verde with greens, fennel, candied hazelnut, and goat cheese; Cacio e Pepe made with iceberg, guanciale, Pecorino, and Grana Padano; and Burrata Caprese with heirloom tomatoes, basil oil, and burrata.

The pasta list features Paccheri Pomodoro Burrata with tomato sauce and basil; Tagliatelle Bolognese with pork shoulder and mortadella; Mezzi Rigatoni ’Nduja with spicy sausage and cream; Chitarra Carbonara with guanciale and cured egg yolk; and Capellini Neri Cod, a squid ink pasta with smoked cod and beurre blanc.

Pizza lovers can choose from Boscaiola with sausage and mushroom; Prosciutto e Rucola with cherry tomatoes and arugula; Capricciosa with prosciutto cotto, mushroom, and olives; Patatosa with truffle, potato, and pancetta; and Salmone Romana topped with smoked salmon, romaine, and dill.

For mains, Chicken Parmigiana brings tomato sauce, Fior di Latte, and Grana Padano; Salmone is served with grilled broccolini, crispy Brussels sprouts, and Soubise sauce; and Bistecca offers a 12 oz striploin with red wine demi-glace and salad.

Desserts include Affogato with gelato and espresso; Bonet Piemontese with amaretti custard and Chantilly cream; and Tiramisu layered with espresso and mascarpone.

Happy Hour runs Monday to Friday from 3 to 5 p.m. and nightly from 9 p.m. to close, featuring Beef Ragu Arancini; Marinated Sicilian Olives; Gnoccho Fritto; Truffle Potato Chips; Garlic Parmesan Bites; an Antipasto Board for Two; and pizzas Margherita and Claudio’s Diavola. Pastas Paccheri Pomodoro Burrata and Chitarra Carbonara are also available. Happy Hour drinks include local beer; wine; Prosecco; Margaritas; Mojitos; Sangria; and cocktails such as Aperol Spritz, Negroni, and Old Fashioned.

Lunch runs Monday to Friday from noon to 3 p.m.; dinner begins daily at 5 p.m. Reservations and pickup orders are available through Claudio’s Ristorante.
