Capo & The Spritz brings a distinct Italian flair to the heart of Yaletown, combining a cozy pizzeria with a sophisticated cocktail bar. Nestled within the boutique OPUS Hotel, the restaurant delivers a dining experience grounded in tradition and elevated by modern touches.
We visited Capo & The Spritz for a casual meal and tried a few dishes. The Margherita Pizza exemplifies simplicity done well, with a tangy 36-hour fermented sourdough crust that carries the bright flavours of tomato, basil, and creamy fior di latte.
The Tagliatelle Bolognese delivered a rich, comforting flavour with its slow-cooked sauce and Parmigiano Reggiano.
The Gnocco Fritto & Bomba offered a fun and savoury starter. Crispy, soft-centred pillows of pizza sourdough served with spicy bomba dip.
Service was friendly and attentive. Overall, I would recommend Capo & The Spritz and be interested in returning to try more of their dishes.
