Blue Mountain Vineyard and Cellars 2020 Alluvium Reflection – Block 32 Chardonnay

Blue Mountain Vineyard and Cellars are honoured that its 2020 Alluvium Reflection- Block 32 Chardonnay has received a perfect 100-point score.

The accolade comes from venerable Canadian wine expert John Schreiner, who in the past has awarded 100 points only to a single other wine.

Schreiner’s review notes that Blue Mountain’s 2020 Alluvium Reflection Chardonnay has a “creamy palate that delivers flavours of stone fruits” and a persistent finish: “There is something cerebral to the personality of this sophisticated wine whose flavours stay on the palate for many minutes.”

His complete review is available online

He also gave a score of 97 to the 2020 Blossom Slope- Block 17 Chardonnay.

It is noteworthy that in the past Schreiner has given 100-point scores to only 1 other wine.

He awarded the scores to 4 vintages of CheckMate Winery’s “Little Pawn,” which sells for over $100 per bottle.

By contrast, the Blue Mountain Chardonnays are both modestly priced at $49.90 per bottle or $299.40 for a 6-bottle case.

Both Chardonnays may be purchased online directly from the winery.
