Produced under strict guidelines, Chianti Classico is one of Italy’s most iconic red wines. It’s known around the world for its distinctive flavour profile and food-friendly character. This August, the BCL will celebrate the Tuscan wine with displays of Chianti Classicos in 30 BCL locations, as well as a consumer tasting at the 39th & Cambie Signature Liquor Store on Thursday, August 17th 2023.
A selection of outstanding Chianti Classico wines will be featured in the displays and at the consumer event, including:
- Castello di Ama San Lorenzo Gran Selezione Chianti Classico DOCG
- Castello di Gabbiano Cavaliere D’Oro Masstige Chianti Classico DOCG
- Cecchi Storia di Famiglia Chianti Classico
Guests at the 39th & Cambie event will enjoy a sit-down guided tasting of the wines led by Chianti Classico Ambassador Jason Yamasaki.
The event will be two hours in length, giving guests ample time to learn about and appreciate the wines while enjoying them with a 3-course Italian tapas-style meal from Bon Vivant Catering.
