Mount Pleasant’s MICHELIN Guide Bib Gourmand awarded restaurant Anh and Chi is excited to announce its second collaboration with trailblazing Western Canadian meal kit company Fresh Prep. Known for its authentic Vietnamese fare and creative cocktails, Anh and Chi is at once a cultural beacon as well as a gathering place where passion for Vietnamese cuisine is shared with the Vancouver community. This exciting new collab features two fresh recipes inspired by one of Anh and Chi’s most popular dishes, packing all the vibrant flavours into a simple 30-minute kit perfect for any backyard BBQ or summer party, available for delivery between now and August 15.
Fresh Prep, known for their flavourful, convenient and sustainably focused meal kits across Western Canada, combines culinary creativity with environmental responsibility. They deliver fresh, pre-portioned meal ingredients to create chef-inspired meals at home in about 30 minutes. Fresh Prep offers a wide range of delicious recipes each week, including vegetarian and vegan options, plus ready-to-eat meals, and more. All ingredients are thoughtfully packed in reusable, insulated cooler bags with reusable ice packs, ensuring a minimal environmental footprint.
This latest partnership between Anh and Chi and Fresh Prep features two new recipes designed to bring the lively taste of Vietnamese street food into home kitchens and backyards: the Anh and Chi Street Side Tofu Platter with Mẹ’s Sweet Soy Sauce and the Anh and Chi Street Side Chicken Platter with Mẹ’s Chilli Fish Sauce. Each of the platters reflects the commitment both partners have made to freshness and quality. With artisanal sauces locally made by Me’s Marketplace, ingredients carefully sourced by Fresh Prep, and recipes thoughtfully crafted by Anh and Chi, cooking these signature Vietnamese meals at home is easy and convenient.

Amelie is one half of the dynamic sibling duo behind Anh and Chi (and the soon-to-open Good Thief). She and her brother, Vincent Nguyen, are committed to building community through their restaurants as a continuation of their parent’s legacy, having owned the iconic Pho Hoang restaurant on Main Street since the 1980s.
For the duration of this collaboration, Fresh Prep will feature Anh and Chi’s flavour-packed Me’s Marketplace sauces on its add-on menu so customers can enhance any summer meal with a delicious dash of Me’s vegan Sweet Soy Sauce and Mẹ’s gluten-free Chilli Fish Sauce. These small-batch artisanal sauces are made locally and are a versatile addition to any home pantry.

Recipes are available to order starting June 20 in B.C. and Alberta via Fresh Prep, with the first deliveries on July 6, and closes on August 7, with the last kits going out the week of August 10.
