A beloved breakfast & brunch spot in New Westminster has reopened after undergoing a month-long renovation. This is Angelina’s Dutch Corner at River Market and they are welcoming guests with a bright, new space.
You’ll find a well-lit solarium-style atmosphere; bright orange and blue tones; and indoor greenery for a warm, inviting feel.
Some other highlights include new, cozy booths fitted with real leather and even some UBS ports. Handy if your phone battery is low!
We visited them for brunch and here is what we tried:
They are known for their Pannekoeken so we got the Fresh Fruit and Whipped Cream Sweet version.
We also enjoyed the fully loaded, Big Breakfast platter which came with bacon; ham; sausage; bratwurst; roasted baby potatoes; toast; two free range eggs; and fresh fruit.
There was also the Seafood Hash which had Wild Smoked Sockeye Salmon, Shrimp, mix of fresh cut hashbrowns; corn; onions; tomatoes; green peppers and two free range eggs. We had it with salsa and toast.
Adding to our feast, we had a side of chorizo and a brunch Caesar.
In terms of the menu, their offerings are extensive including pannekoek; waffles, omelettes; breakfast plates; sandwiches; soups and more.
Angelina’s is known for their made-from-scratch items with good portions. We definitely enjoyed our dining experience there in their refreshed space. Check them out with their new ambience in New Westminster.
