Alliance Française Vancouver has launched Les Épicuriens, a bilingual program designed for food lovers and culinary enthusiasts. The program blends cuisine, culture, and expertise through masterclasses, chef demonstrations, tastings, and conferences.
I attended their inaugural Savour & Sip event where Chef Rafe of White Table Catering demonstrated the preparation of a roasted game hen breast with baby turnips, grains, and bearnaise sauce, followed by a whiskey truffle petit four.
Attendees enjoyed curated wine selections from Domaine Artema, along with beer from Kronenbourg 1664.
A portion of each ticket sale was donated to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank.
For over a century, Alliance Française Vancouver is one of Vancouver’s oldest non-profit organizxations and has been a cornerstone of French language education and cultural exchange in the city.
