Winter Bear Dessert and Tea house is a spot in Vancouver serving bubble tea and bingsu. Bingsu (or “bingsoo”) is a popular Korean dessert that consists of finely shaved ice topped with a variety of sweet toppings
For drinks, they offer classic milk teas, slush/smoothies, sparkling drinks, fruits teas and so forth. For bingsu, they have options like Mango Cheesecake, Banana Cream Pie, Strawberry and more. There is also a build-your-own Bingsu option where you choose your base, crunch base, syrup, and toppings.
We went with the Mango Bingsu and it was full of shaved milk ice, mangos chunks, tapioca pearls, a layer of corn flakes, vanilla ice cream on top and mango syrup drizzle. I thought the milk ice was very light, fluffy and fine. Mangos were perfectly sweet and ripe. Pearls were soft and chewy.
There was just one person working and prepping the food so there was a bit of a wait. All in all, a good experience to share with others during the summer.
