Gringo North Vancouver Outpost Opens on May 14

Gringo will add a new member to its family of festive local hotspots with the official opening of Gringo North Vancouver at 100 East 2nd Street in North Vancouver on Tuesday, May 14. The vibrant new location boasts a total size of 1500 square feet, featuring 17 seats on the patio for guests to soak up the sunshine and 30 seats inside.

To celebrate the new opening, Gringo will feature a special on gift cards from May 14 to 31st and feature a limited number of $50 GCs for $40 and $100 GCs for $80. These are ONLY available for purchase at the North Vancouver location. 

The Lonsdale menu showcases a number of Gringo fan favourites including tacos, ‘Dillas, Burritos and Bowls in the following varieties:

  • Encino (roasted chicken, cabbage, ranch, fried onions);
  • Wilbur (Mazatlan-style pork butt, pickled onions);
  • Kung Fu (Kung Pao-marinated tofu, vegan spicy mayo, lime slaw, green onions, sesame seeds);
  • Beany Baby (refried beans, cabbage, picante pineapple salsa, tortilla chips);
  • Austin (saucy smokey Angus beef, slaw, corn chips);

Gringo will also be rolling out new items only available at the North Van location.

The bar showcases a Local Beer, Tequila & Mezcal (Hornitos Black Barrel or Cristalino, Tres Generaciones Añejo, Brunco X mezcal), Bourbon (Old Grand Dad, Maker’s, Knob Creek, Basil Hayden), Shooters (Tequila Turner, Bourbra Streisand, Rumiah Carey or Ginet Jackson), and ‘Shake ‘n’ Dumps’ in White Girl W@$ted (vodka, lemonade, soda), Son of a Beach (vodka, peach tea, cranberry, orange Tang), Sex in the Alley (vodka, cherry Kool-Aid, Sunny D, lime) and Michelada(lager, tomato and lime juice, chili salt rim) in a variety of sizes as well as zero-proof and non-alcoholic mocktail options.

An offshoot of the beloved OG Gringo Gastown cantina that was opened in 2013 and Gringo Davie Street in 2022, the new North Vancouver spot transports the same laidback vibes, 80’s & 90’s tunes, and signature menu food and drink favourites to the bustling Lower Lonsdale neighbourhood of North Vancouver.
