Fort Langley May Day Parade 2022 Celebrates 100th Year – May 23

This weekend marks not only the return of one of the most beloved and popular events on Fort Langley’s events calendar. It also marks a major milestone for the event itself. On Victoria Day (Monday, May 23), the 100th annual edition of the Fort Langley May Day Parade 2022 will take place. And better still, the parade is bookended by a full day of family-friendly events to ensure that attendees of all ages will have an unforgettable day.

The Fort Langley May Day Parade 2022 itself kicks off at 11 am, making its way along Mavis Ave., Glover Rd., 88th Ave., and Trattle St., with sights and sounds including 100 different vehicles (one for each year!), pipe bands, the May Queen and much more.

The day’s festivities are made complete with the following attractions…

8 am: Fort Langley Lions Pancake Breakfast (corner of Glover Rd. & 88th Ave.)

12:15 pm: FREE family event at Fort Langley Park including:

  • Fort Langley Lions’ famous BBQ chicken available for purchase
  • Traditional maypole dancing
  • Food trucks and vendors
  • A display of the 100 cars from the parade
  • Kids’ activities and entertainment
  • LIVE MUSIC (on the Spirit Stage in Fort Langley Park) featuring:

Parking will be available in the Orchard at the Fort Langley National Historic Site and on other roads in Fort Langley. Please be considerate of residents.
