We had a great time trying out the Dine Out Vancouver Festival menu for Time and Place located at the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown. Here is what we ordered:
Appetizers
Smoke Fraser Valley Duck Breast Maple Bourbon Glaze (caramelized squash puree)

Charred French Onion Soup (gruyere and herb crostini)

Entrees
Braised Beef Short Rib (roasted heirloom carrot emulsion, black garlic spatzle)



Seared Arctic Char (pan roasted fingerling potato , mushroom saute, green beans, galic and fennel broth)


Desserts
Pot o’ Creme (white chocolate silk)

Earl Grey Crème Brule (fresh berry coulis and passionfruit mousse)

A delicious locally sourced menu showcasing the bounties of the Pacific North West. My ideal 3-course would be the Smoke Fraser Valley Duck Breast; Seared Arctic Char; and Earl Grey Creme Brule.
