SMC // Phantom Creek Estates Hosts an Egg-cellent Easter Celebration April 9

The fun kicks off at 10 a.m. and runs all day.

Schedule

  • 10 a.m.: Estate-wide egg hunt for the kids and a “Hoppy Hour” for parents, with special pricing on select wines until 11 a.m. No reservation is needed.
  • 11 a.m. & 2 p.m.: The Great Phantom Easter Egg Hunt, a Wine Club tour and tasting. This free-for-members’ Easter egg estate tour is 60 minutes long and includes details about the cycle of the vines, bud burst, and Phantom Creek’s biodynamic approach in the vineyard. It ends with a tasting by Neel Hirlekar of three wines from the spring release alongside a signature macaron pairing created by Chef Alessa and her team. Make a reservation here for the 11 a.m. tour, and here for the 2 p.m. tour.
  • 11:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.: Easter Celebration lunch at The Restaurant. This festive and delicious three-course family-style meal includes a complimentary glass of sparkling wine. After a bright spring salad, guests can choose from mains that include roasted lamb saddle with oyster mushrooms and polenta; or a spring risotto with fava beans, peas, grana padano, and pea shoots. Kids can opt for rigatoni, and for dessert, there’s Easter carrot cake with white chocolate ganache, candied ginger, walnut sable, carrot agro dolce, and vanilla ice cream. Easter decorations make it egg-stra special; the cost per person is $65. Limited availability, please book your table at OpenTable here.
  • For those who prefer to celebrate at home, Chef Alessa is also packing up the Easter Celebration meal in a meal kit to-go, featuring the same crisp salad, mouth-watering roasted lamb saddle and seasonal dessert, for $50 per person. Ordered in advance, the meal kit can be picked up at the winery on April 9, or for local residents from Kelowna to Osoyoos, it can be delivered at no extra charge. Special pricing is also available for accompanying wines (limit 3 wines per order): 2021 Rose, $30; 2020 Viognier, $36; 2018 Estate Petite Cuvee, $40.50. Place your order online
