Via Tevere serves Neapolitan pizza at Time Out Market Vancouver in Oakridge Park. We stopped by to try the Margherita and Sacrilegio, two tomato-based pizzas with very different approaches to toppings.

The Margherita keeps things simple with tomato, fior di latte and basil. Patches of melted cheese sit across the red tomato base, with basil leaves and a puffed, blistered crust around the edges. This is the pizza to order when you want the classic tomato, cheese and basil combination.

The Sacrilegio comes with tomato, fior di latte and New Jersey pepperoni. Ours had a generous covering of pepperoni, with many of the slices curling into small cups as they cooked. There was pepperoni across nearly the entire pizza, right up to the raised crust.

Both pizzas had lightly charred spots around the rim. The Margherita gives you a simpler topping combination, while the Sacrilegio is an option for anyone who likes plenty of pepperoni.
Having Via Tevere at the market makes it easy to share a pizza while trying dishes from the other vendors.
