Fall drinks do not have to stop at pumpkin spice. This season’s new releases move from cinnamon apple and maple pecan coffees to oat beverages with eight grams of protein and a fruit-flavoured wine with 16% alcohol. Whether you are settling into a morning coffee routine or planning a night with friends, here are a few bottles and capsules arriving in Canada this fall.
Nespresso
Nespresso has a mix of new and returning coffees for fall. The new Cinnamon Apple Crisp has cinnamon, apple and biscuit notes that give it more of a baked dessert flavour.

Maple Pecan is returning for another season. It combines maple and pecan with an Arabica coffee base, with some creamy caramel flavour coming through when served over ice with milk. Pumpkin Spice Cake is back too, with a mix of pumpkin, clove, cinnamon and cardamom.
Nespresso’s fall collection is not just about seasonal flavours. Ginseng Delight is a new blend of Latin American Arabica and Ugandan Robusta with ginseng extract. Caramel and biscuit keep the flavour familiar, with a little earthiness from the ginseng.
For busier mornings, Active B6 is an almond and vanilla double espresso enriched with vitamin B6. Vivida B12 is closer to Melozio, with cereal and honey notes and added vitamin B12.
There is a limited-edition Monin Kit too, with Cinnamon Roll and Toffee Nut syrups for anyone who likes making flavoured coffee at home.
Maison Perrier
For a non-alcoholic drink that is already mixed and ready to serve, Maison Perrier has introduced CHIC Margarita. The canned mocktail combines concentrated fruit juices, light botanicals, acidity and a pinch of salt for a zesty take on a Margarita without the alcohol. Pour it into a glass with ice and lime for an easy drink during those warmer evenings that carry into early fall.

Earth’s Own
Earth’s Own has two new oat beverages. Both have eight grams of plant-based protein per serving, but they are made with slightly different uses in mind.
Protein Barista is the coffee option. It is formulated to froth, so it can be used for lattes and cappuccinos at home. Each serving has 80 calories, making it an easy addition to the everyday morning coffee.
Oat Protein is the one you can pour into a glass, add to coffee or use in other recipes. Earth’s Own says it is the only oat beverage in Canada with eight grams of protein per serving.

MXM
Fall also means more nights spent indoors with friends, which is where MXM Hard Flavoured Wine from Arterra Wines Canada fits in. MXM is closer in spirit to a ready-to-drink beverage than a traditional bottle of wine. It has a bold fruit flavour, comes ready to serve and is sold in a shareable 750 mL bottle. The alcohol content is 16%, so it is stronger than many canned flavoured drinks.
Peroni Nastro Azzurro
The first weeks of fall can still bring warm evenings, which leaves time for one more drink outside. Peroni Nastro Azzurro is a crisp Italian lager that can be served cold for casual dinners, evenings with friends or a quiet drink at home.
