Here are some of the July food happenings worth checking out around the region.
Free Nando’s Meal for Mandela Day
Nando’s Canada is marking Mandela Day with a food donation event on July 18 from 11 AM to 1 PM. Guests who bring one non-perishable pantry item to a participating location can receive a free quarter chicken with PERi-Fries, available for dine-in or takeout. Donated items will be distributed to food banks in local communities. The offer is available at participating Nando’s Canada restaurants, excluding Metrotown.
Anatoli Souvlaki Chicken Gyro BOGO Deal
From July 20 to 23, Anatoli Souvlaki in North Vancouver is offering a buy-one-get-one-free deal on their Chicken Gyro. Each gyro is made with a grilled pita filled with roasted chicken, lettuce, tomato, onion and housemade tzatziki.
The offer is available exclusively for takeout from the restaurant’s walk-up window. Dine-in orders and delivery apps are not included.
