Straight Outta Brooklyn is now open in Port Moody, bringing New-York style pizza to the Tri Cities. You can find them at 2929 St John Street, Unit #7.
This spot comes from the same team behind Via Tevere, Don’t Argue Pizza, and Il Saltimbocca, with a focus on traditional techniques and ingredient quality.
The space is compact at 500 square feet with seating for eight, set up more for quick bites or takeout. Inside, Brooklyn-inspired lighting and artwork referencing classic New York pizzerias give it a casual, neighbourhood feel.
The menu sticks to New York style pies with thin crusts and straightforward toppings. Expect combinations built on aged cheeses, house made sauces, and seasonal ingredients.
My personal favourite is the Cup N’Char while my family enjoys the Margherita, Hawaiian and Classic.
Straight Outta Brooklyn Port Moody is open daily from 11 AM to 9 PM, with extended hours on Fridays and Saturdays.
