Sweet7 is participating in this summer’s Koolfest, a warm weather offshoot of the Hot Chocolate Festival that focuses on chilled, dessert-style drinks. Known locally for playful flavours and customizable bubble tea, Sweet7’s Koolfest offerings feel designed for easy sipping during warmer days rather than heavy indulgence.
For this visit, I tried both of Sweet7’s limited-time Koolfest drinks.
The Mint Choco Frappe With Pearls combines mint, chocolate, Oreo, and chewy pearls in an icy format. The drink is rich and dessert-like, with the pearls adding texture throughout. It leans toward the sweeter side and feels suited for those craving something closer to a frozen treat than a standard bubble tea.
The Mint Wintermelon Coconut takes a lighter approach. Made with fresh wintermelon juice, coconut milk, and a subtle hint of mint, it drinks smoothly and stays refreshing from start to finish. Being dairy-free, vegan, and gluten-free, it also works well for those looking for a plant-based option without sacrificing flavour. This one felt especially appropriate for hot summer afternoons.
Both drinks are available for a limited time as part of Koolfest. Of the two, the Mint Wintermelon Coconut stood out as my personal favourite for its freshness and easy drinkability.
