Honey Salt will present the fifth edition of their Art-Dinner Series on October 2 at Parq Vancouver. The evening features a four-course collaboration by Chef Johann Caner and Chef Stephanie Baryluk, priced at $95 per person plus tax and gratuity. Proceeds from the evening’s live art auction will support Girls Who LEAP, a local non-profit that provides leadership and mentorship opportunities for female-identifying and non-binary youth.

Chef Baryluk, from Teetl’it Zheh in Treaty 11 Territory, draws from her Arctic upbringing and the traditional food practices of her community. Together with Chef Caner, she has created a menu with dishes such as Barkley Sound Cold Smoked Sockeye Tartare, Organic Ocean Halibut with Nk’mip sweetgrass beurre blanc, Braised Bison with blueberry demi-glace, and Sweetgrass Crème Brûlée with Pemberton berries.
The Honey Salt patio will feature an exhibit curated by Jack Topolewski of Fingerprint Art Gallery, including works by Joe Buffalo, Larissa Healy (Gurl 23), and Eliot White-Hill (Kwulasultun). Music and performance art will accompany the evening, with contributions from Ashley Callingbull, David Hovan, YB Nakota, Patrick Anthony, and Lovina Tootoosis.
Reservations can be made by email at [email protected]. Honey Salt is located at 39 Smithe Street on the ground floor of Parq Vancouver.
