Greendale Acres is celebrating their 27th season with a full calendar of family events and attractions set to take place throughout August at its farm in Chilliwack. The Fraser Valley destination will once again bring together farm activities, food experiences, music, and seasonal festivals, anchored by the return of the popular Chilliwack Corn Festival.

Running August 2 to 4, the Corn Festival features the launch of this year’s bee-themed Chilliwack Corn Maze, corn-eating competitions, a cornhole tournament, and live performances by Larry Edwards & The Johnny Bootleg Trio, Unbranded, the Morgan Griffith Band, and Ryan McCallister. Corn on the cob, licensed events, and kid-friendly programming will round out the long weekend festivities.
The farm’s midweek series, Midweek Magic, offers $1 slushies on Slushie Wednesdays and free train rides on Ticket to Ride Thursdays with paid admission. These run Wednesdays and Thursdays throughout August.
The Greendale Acres Flower Festival will debut August 16 and 17, inviting visitors to walk through blooming fields, enjoy live music, join bouquet-making sessions, and take part in flower crown workshops and honey tastings.
Evenings on the farm come alive with the Sundown Music Series, held Saturdays in August. Artists performing include Jonas Wilson, Kyler Pierce, Danielle Ryan, Richard Griffith, and the Tanner Olsen Band. Events are fully licensed and designed to be family friendly, with food and activities available.
On Thursday evenings, the Golden Hour Flower Workshop offers a slower-paced experience. Guests can stroll the fields, collect blooms, and learn flower arranging with guidance from farm florist Vanessa Oddy. The workshop includes light refreshments and takes place August 7, 14, 21, and 28.
The summer season wraps up with the Summer Send Off Festival from August 30 to September 1. The weekend will feature live music, games, and activities before school begins, with performances by Morgan and Richard Griffith, Danielle Ryan, the Tanner Olsen Band, and the Ryan McCallister Band.
Throughout the month, the farm will keep its full range of attractions open, including the Greendale Express Train, U-Pick Flower Gardens, Pumpkin Pyramid, Hay Bale Maze, Farm Carousel, Adventure Course, and more.
