Showcase Restaurant inside the Vancouver Marriott Pinnacle Downtown has launched a new weekend brunch menu that brings bold flavours, generous portions, and a few surprises to the table. Offered every Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, the menu includes à la carte plates, shareable boards, signature cocktails, and a bottomless mimosa bar.
The Morning Graze Board is designed for two and features a mix of sweet and savoury items like thick brioche French Toast with Vanilla Panna Cotta and Churros plus Dipping Chocolate and Calabrian maple syrup or Smoked Steelhead with Devilled Eggs and Crispy Bagel.
Brunch plates range from hearty to light. The Chili Maple Fried Chicken and Waffles comes glazed in Calabrian chili maple sauce with cafe de paris butter and parmesan foam. Mr Egg Benedict is a classic with grilled sourdough, roasted mushroom, spinach, back bacon, and citrus herb hollandaise, with an option to swap in smoked salmon. The 8oz Chuck Burger Dip layers provolone, mushrooms, and caramelized onions and comes with a side of black pepper gravy.
Lighter options include the Steelhead and Berry Salad with roasted nuts and a strawberry balsamic vinaigrette; the Oyster and King Mushroom Toast with whipped ricotta and sherry honey; and the Oatmeal Power Bowl with nut butter, compressed strawberries, and granola. The Burrata and Avocado Toast and Duo House Croissant (butter and chocolate almond) round out the lighter fare.
Signature offerings include the Showcase Breaky with eggs, sausage, bacon, herb potatoes, and toast, the seafood-rich West Coast Clam Chowder, and Butter Chicken served with coconut jasmine rice, mint raita, and naan. The Turkey Club Supreme comes with pesto, provolone, maple pepper bacon, and fries. Sides like Roasted Pork Belly, Patatas Bravas, and Parmesan Fries are available individually or as a “pick three” option.
The brunch cocktail menu features the Showcase Shaft made with espresso and Nanaimo bar liqueur, the citrus-forward Sunny Side Sip, and the bourbon-based Just Peachy. The Bottomless Mimosa Bar includes Zonin Prosecco and a rotating list of juices like orange, pineapple, passion fruit, and strawberry, plus fresh fruit and herbs to customize your glass.
My favourites from the media tasting were the Smoked Steelhead + Deviled Egg + Crispy Bagel Morning Graze Board and the Chili Maple Fried Chicken and Waffles.
