Fairmont Pacific Rim has launched Suite X, a new immersive hotel experience created in collaboration with Canadian artist and author Douglas Coupland, in partnership with Westbank and Peterson. Inspired by Generation X, Coupland’s 1991 novel, the suite blends visual art, design, and hospitality through a personalized space filled with his artwork, custom furniture, and curated literature.
Located on the Fairmont Gold floor, Suite X offers panoramic views of the city and coastline. The space is designed to evoke the feeling of sitting in Coupland’s own living room, reflecting his interest in culture, identity, and modernity.
The suite includes original works by Coupland, titles from the TASCHEN library, and design elements that align with his pop-art aesthetic.
Suite X is part of the recently upgraded Fairmont Gold level, which features nature-inspired interiors and tailored services. The project continues Fairmont Pacific Rim’s commitment to celebrating Canadian creativity through collaborations with leading artists and designers. The suite is now open for bookings.
