Fairmont Hotel Vancouver will host Summer Swing on Friday, June 20, a one-night event that brings back the style and spirit of Vancouver’s mid-century nightlife. Held at The Roof on the 15th floor, the evening will pay tribute to Dal Richards and the golden years of the Panorama Roof, a hub of live jazz and fine dining from 1940 to 1965.

The event features a three-course dinner served long-table style, designed to encourage conversation while recalling classic hotel menus reinterpreted by the in-house culinary team. Doors open at 6 PM, with dinner followed by a performance from the Vancouver Jazz Orchestra. The program includes a range of big band and swing selections, inviting guests to the dance floor as the venue fills with the energy of the summer solstice.
Attendees are encouraged to dress in vintage-inspired evening wear. Tickets are $200 per person, with taxes and service fees additional. An exclusive accommodation offer is available to event guests booking directly with the hotel.
