De’Longhi sent me a Magnifica Start Espresso Machine, and after using it for a few weeks, I’m ready to share my experience!
First of all, it’s transformed my coffee routine. With just one touch, I can choose between Espresso, Coffee, or Americano, and I love being able to adjust the intensity to suit my needs—whether I need a strong boost in the morning or something milder in the afternoon.
The built-in conical burr grinder is impressive, offering 13 different grind settings. This ensures I get the best flavour out of every bean, no matter the variety. It’s great to have that level of control, and there is a taste difference compared to pre-ground coffee.
The manual milk frother has become my favourite feature. It’s easy to use and lets me create textured foam for lattes and cappuccinos. I’ve even experimented with oat milk, and it works just as well, making it versatile for different preferences.

Cleaning up is hassle-free too, with removable, dishwasher-safe parts that save me a lot of time. Overall, this machine delivers a café-quality experience at home, making it a nice addition to any coffee lover’s kitchen.
