Kam Do Bakery 金都餅店 is a top spot for Chinese baked goods and has been around in Metro Vancouver for 28 years. As you step through the doors at Kam Do Bakery, you are greeted by the enticing scent of traditional Chinese pastries, each one meticulously crafted.

Here are some of my favourites:
First up are the Chinese flaky pastries with fillings like Lotus Seed & Century Egg and Walnut & Red Bean.






Their traditional wife cakes (Lo Po Beng) feature a delicate, multi-layered flaky crust that crumbles beautifully with each bite. The filling is made from winter melon, almond paste, and glutinous rice flour, offering a slightly sweet, chewy, and fragrant experience.


Other favourites of ours are the Portuguese Egg Tart, Taro Bun, Seaweed Bun, Pineapple Bun with BBQ Pork Filling as well as a Classic BBQ Pork Bun.
