Acre Through the Seasons partners with Sheringham Distillery + Gérard Bertrand

Acre Through the Seasons  – Club Versante’s newest dining destination – announces the following two events in partnership with BC’s award-winning Sheringham Distillery (May 31) and French producer of eco-conscious wines, Gérard Bertrand (June 13).

These special multi-course dinners will be prepared by Club Versante’s Executive Chef William Lew and Restaurant Chef Lemuel Tsang, and will be paired perfectly with cocktails and wines from the visiting distillery and wine producer.

Sheringham Distillery Dinner

Wednesday May 31, 6:30 – 9:30 pm

Explore pairing the finest BC regional cuisine with artisanal cocktails featuring one of the province’s best distilleries – a one-of-a-kind collaboration between chef, distiller, and mixologist. 

Acre Through the Seasons welcomes co-founder and distiller Jason MacIsaac from Sheringham Distillery in Sooke, BC, maker of international award-winning spirits, for this special event.

A multi-course menu by Acre’s seasonally-obsessed chefs includes dishes like a savoury donut topped with trout caviar and cardamom cream, paired with a Sheringham Seaside Gin, lime, cucumber, and Green Chartreuse cocktail.

Gérard Bertrand Wine Dinner

Tuesday, June 13, 6:30 – 9:30 pm

The elegant wines from French producer Gérard Bertrand (Master Winemaker of the Year 2023) evoke the flavours of long, sun-soaked days in the vineyards of Southern France.

Just as meticulously as Gérard Bertrand crafts its terroir-focused wines, Chefs Lew and Tsang have curated a lavish five-course pairing menu, highlighting the delicate nuances of these world-renowned, certified biodynamic wines.

Nicolas Galy, Gérard Bertrand’s fine wine director for North America, will guide you on a luxe gastronomic journey inspired by the cuisine of the sun, featuring everything from caviar to burrata and pheasant.

It’s an insider voyage through a collection of terroir-inspired wines and the captivating story behind the Gérard Bertrand brand.
