Final preparations are underway for Car Free Day Downtown New West on Friday, July 26th. This memorable family-friendly event is fun, educational and free.

Taking place from 5 pm to 9 pm on the Front Street Mews there is something for everyone, whether you’re looking to shop for unique handmade goods, sample delicious street food, or simply enjoy the vibrant atmosphere.
Entertainment highlights include:
- Vancouver’s own DJ O Show will be bringing her energetic blend and musical passion to the main stage. The Afro-Indigenous female Hip Hop and R&B DJ has been delighting crowds for over 15-years with memorable sets, proving time and time again that diversity makes beautiful music.
- Bradley Barkman and Benjamin Parker, are talented musicians based in Vancouver, has been enriching the city’s music scene since 2014 with Bradley’s captivating voice and Benjamin’s intimate guitar performances. Bradley and Benjamin showcase their talent by paying tribute to music icons and performing original songs.
- Vancouver Circus School, a name synonymous with over 100 years of circus and trampoline expertise will mesmerize the crowd with their incredible acrobatics and skill. Their approach to entertainment ensures every event is not just an act but an unforgettable experience.
- Family Place will be hosting a Kid Zone with games, street chalk and coloring, designed with babies, toddlers, and children in mind, offering a multitude of fun activities to engage and entertain.
- Come hungry as there will be tons of food trucks including, Kona Ice of Chilliwack, Mahshiko, Meet 2 Eat, Taco’N Todo, Tokyo Katsu-Sand and more.
