East Van Roasters has announced that they have opened up a new outpost at 16 W Hastings Street in Downtown Vancouver.
East Van Roasters is a social enterprise that creates and provides meaningful employment opportunities in a dignified and compassionate work environment for at-risk people living in the Downtown Eastside.
They are operate as a community cafe and is known for their fair-trade artisan coffee and and bean-to-bar chocolates.
Since opening in 2012, EVR has supported marginalized people to re-enter the workforce through mentorship-based programming and on-the-job training.
