Ramen Kounotori is a popular and good value ramen eatery in the Riley Park/Little Mountain area.

While they are known for the delicious and loaded ramen bowls, they have a new side menu.

These include the Tori Nanban with sous vide chicken and house blended soy sauce.

There was also the crispy Tori Karraage which are house made soy sauce marinated deep fried chicken wings.

The deep fried, soft Agedashi Tofu was also good.

And we also had the Chashu Rice Bowl with Soft Boiled Egg.

Their more elevated ramen bowls options start at around $18 and you get a very good ratio of proteins and other ingredients to noodles. Their Tori Ramen is served with pork chashu, chicken chashu, soft-boiled egg, kikurage seaweed, green onion, and caramelized onion.

My favourite is the Tori Paitan with fresh creamy chicken broth.

There is also the Kara Tori Paitan which features their house made hot spicy tare.

We also enjoyed the Tori Shio with fresh chicken, seafood broth and sea salt.

Another option is the Tori Shoyu with a rich soy sauce base.

For drinks, we had the Lemon Breeze and Tokyo Lemonade cocktails.

I had been to Ramen Kounotori when they opened last year and it seems like the food is even better than I remember.
The broths are deep and rich and they offer a good amount of protein that is nice and tender.
I definitely recommend checking them out. Here are the menus for reference.

Ramen Kounotori is located at 3950 Main St, Vancouver.
