The 16th annual From Farms to Forks Gala, presented by RBC, took place at A-OK Commissary (Aritzia Headquarter) in Vancouver.
Organized and supporting the non-profit Growing Chefs, the fundraising gala brought together local chefs, farmers and food producers for an evening celebrating BC’s food community.
Guests enjoyed tasting dishes featuring seasonal and locally sourced ingredients, along with BC wines, cocktails and desserts.
As a volunteer with Growing Chefs, I have the opportunity to see firsthand the work they do to teach children about cooking, gardening and nutritious eating. It’s a cause I’m happy to support!
I was also able to support their silent auction by donating six wine and beverage lots, which raised around $1,000.
A lovely evening of good food and community, supporting food education for the next generation!
