SunTea has opened up a new Lougheed location in Coquitlam with a menu of fruit teas and specialty milk drinks. They are currently offering 20% off all drinks during this soft opening phase.
Right now, SunTea is also a brand that I really enjoy revisiting because of the quality of the drinks at an approachable price point (for current times).
Here is what I tried.
Strawberry Coconut Milk, fruity and refreshing featuring sweetness of the strawberries alongside the coconut milk. My favourite of the ones I tried. 9.5/10
Fleshy Grapes, aromatic and lightly floral. The jasmine green tea came through first, followed by the natural sweetness of the grapes. The texture from the peeled grapes, jelly, and pearls made this texturally fun. 9/10
Oreo Mochi Milk Tea, rich and dessert-like. The mochi gave a soft, stretchy bite, while the Oreo added a familiar chocolate note throughout. The seasalt cream brought a slight savoury contrast. 8.5/10
