DQ Canada’s Miracle Treat Day returns on Thursday, August 13, with Blizzard Treat sales helping support children’s hospitals across the country.

In Vancouver and throughout BC, net proceeds from every Blizzard Treat sold at participating DQ locations that day will go to BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.
Miracle Treat Day is now in their 24th year and continues to be one of DQ Canada’s largest annual fundraising initiatives. The campaign is held in partnership with Children’s Miracle Network, with money raised in each community staying local.
Last year, DQ locations across the region helped raise more than $286,000 for BC Children’s Hospital Foundation during the one-day event.
Across Canada, the 2025 campaign raised approximately $2.35 million for 13 children’s hospitals. Since DQ began supporting children’s health initiatives in 1984, nearly $58 million has been raised through Miracle Treat Day and other fundraising programs.
Funds raised help support areas including specialized pediatric equipment, medical research, treatments, family support programs and spaces created for children receiving care.
Canadian children’s hospitals recorded around 3.9 million visits in 2025, making community fundraising an ongoing source of support for hospitals and families.
For Vancouver residents looking to take part, simply visit a participating DQ location on August 13 and order a Blizzard Treat. Net proceeds from Blizzard Treat sales that day will be donated to the local children’s hospital foundation.
There is no specific flavour required for the fundraiser, so you can choose from the Blizzard Treat options available at your local DQ.
